Yesterday, I listed three offensive

players that would make some sense on day three for the Eagles, and I explained and outlined

why they are positions of need. But today we're going to dive into some defensive prospects,

five of which I listed in my story on Inside thebirds.com. You can go and read it if you'd like, but we're going to start with defensive tackle.

Look, I've mentioned this ad nauseum, but it's worth mentioning again.

The Eagles are extremely light at defensive tackle beyond Jalen Carter.

And the two players that are now going to be asked to take on elevated roles are Jordan Davis and Morrow Joma, both who coincidentally each played 37% of the snaps,

which came out to 388 snaps apiece.

So I think that the Eagles need to protect themselves a little bit and add to the room because

they were very light in this area last season, but they were very fortunate that they did not

sustain any injuries.

Now, Dion Walker should be available in the

fourth round, and you have to love his size at 6-8, 328 pounds. He has that imposing frame,

but he also has an 84-plus-inch wingspan and nearly 11-inch hands. This is a mammoth defensive

lineman, and I think he moves pretty well for his size,
