Hi, folks. This is Andrew DeCechko, and you're listening to DeCecho Daily. Yes, indeed, we are inching ever so close to opening night of the 2025 NFL draft. And I cannot wait. For those of you in the New Jersey

area, me and some of my friends from 975, the fanatic Bill Colerulo and Tyrone Johnson, will be

broadcasting live from Randall's Restaurant at the Legacy Club in Cherry Hill, New Jersey,

six to midnight.

I kick things off from 6 to 7, and then I'm joined by Bill at 7,

and then Tyrone at 8, and Tyrone and I finish it off from 10 to midnight,

so we should be on the air when the Eagles make their pick.

But this is an interesting situation for the Philadelphia Eagles,

as they have a ton of needs to fill,

but they're not going to reach for players, as we know, they're going to have the best player of Elbow approach.

Now, all that aside, I want to take a moment to assess some of the younger players

are going to be stepping into larger roles and where I sort of slot them for me personally and how I would approach the draft as a result.

Sidney Brown.

Sidney Brown right now would presumably be next in line to jump in and fill the spot left by C.J. Gardner Johnson when he was

traded, of course, to the Houston Texans. Now, Sidney Brown's more of a strong safety,

and I think that his skill set, coupled with Reeve Blankage, it was kind of redundant. I also have

questions as to Sidney Brown's ability to play within the structure

of Vic Fangio's defense. What I mean by that is sometimes Sidney Brown plays with his hair

while he plays with his hair on fire all the time, and that leads to sometimes bad angles,

over pursuing, and it can lead to a big play. On the other hand, it can also lead to big plays,

as he does have an act for finding the football. But players that are sort of high variance,

of the high variance variety, I just have a hard time envisioning how they're going to fit
