It is one of the most important texts, and the early church, it provides insight into the

But before we dig in, let's just pause for a moment to mention that a modern discovery

comes into play when it comes to the dedicate.

Philotheus Brienneus, the Metropolitan, or the Archbishop of Nicodemia, discovered a Greek

manuscript in 1873.

This was a fascinating set of early church texts, and among them is the document in question.

The first line reads, the teaching of the Lord to the Gentiles by the twelve apostles.

Now, the word in Greek for teaching is did-a-k, hence the title did-a-k, so we know what we're

talking about, but who wrote this document?

We believe that the editor or authors are Alexandrian and Origen.
