You know, one of the things that I was surprised with when I got to the professional

realm, you know, I played football growing up. That was my sport.

Played in high school, played in college, and ultimately went on to the pros. And one of the things

I was surprised about when I was with, when I was in the pros, and I was even surprised about this

in college, but I was even more surprised because I thought this would change when I went from

college to the pros. For example, in college, you know, it was, it was kind of understood and it was well known

that not all guys were committed at the same level, you know, like not all guys put in the

same work.

And again, this was kind of surprising to me because I was almost imagining that everyone

in the college round would be like super committed, super locked in. It made sense that in high school, not a lot of guys were like that.

But when I got to the pros, I was surprised even more because I noticed pretty much the same thing.

There were a small fraction of guys, small percentage of guys who were really, really locked in

just in terms of their overall approach,

their commitment level, their attention to detail, and then there was everybody else.

Now, in the pros and in sports in general, there are a lot of factors that we can't always control.

There's injury, there's timing, there's your opponents, there's your competition. You know, there are some guys, man, who might have found themselves getting drafted in earlier rounds, but, you know, they were drafted in 2003 when LeBron James and Dwayne Wade and, you know, Carmelo Anthony were drafted.

So there's a lot of factors that go into things.

There are a lot of things that we can't control.

You know, I suffered from a lot of injuries when I was in the pros.
