This is by far the strangest case I've covered on the podcast.

There is cruelty, deceit, and obsession.

There is no shortage of foul language.

And as with each episode, there is love and loss.

I originally heard about this case from my researcher, Haley.

She sent over her work, and I read it three times wondering how I was going to translate this madness into an episode.

So I watched a TV show about the case, which is something I don't usually do.

But the show didn't help clarify how I was going to tell the story.

So I went and got the book from the library, and I read the book while muttering what the fuck?
