Well, we started this study based on 2nd Thessalonians chapter 2, verse 3,

where Paul writes, let no man deceive you by any means, for that day shall not come,

except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed the son of perdition.

So essentially we started with the idea that that day,

that is the day of the Lord, the tribulation would not come unless there came first. A falling away.

The definite articles used in the Greek language, the falling away, says in the Greek, apost apostasia the falling away so we're just

asking the rhetorical question has the apostasy already come and we have

presented the case for that and we believe that certainly the apostasy has not only

begun but it's picking up speed very rapidly.

And we have traced through a number of scriptures that deal with the apostasy.

Today, I want to do something completely different.

I want to talk about the word doctrine.

The first time this word appears in the Bible is in Deuteronomy 32, if you want to turn back there.

And we're going to be doing a lot of Bible searching today.

So Deuteronomy 32 is the Song of Moses. This is Moses' great statement.

And he says in Deuteronomy 32, give ear, oh ye heavens, and I will speak an ear, hear, oh earth,

the words of my mouth. My doctrine shall drop us the rain.

My speech shall distill as the dew,
