He thinks and smiles slightly at the thought.

He takes a long swig of whiskey long enough to finish the bottle, then lights a cigarette.

It's the middle of the night, and he can't be sure exactly what day it is, or what he's been up to lately.

The booze takes him to strange places he knows, but it's never been a problem in his mind.

Whatever had bothered him to come awake has been dulled by the whiskey,

so he heads to take a piss and drops his smoke into the toilet as he flushes.
