well, look, it really does, shouldn't matter to anyone. No one should be objecting because

same-sex marriage isn't going to have any effect on the rest of you. Just let people live and love

and go their own way. Well, after 10 years, maybe it's beginning to dawn on people that there was a

class of people greatly affected by legalized same-sex marriage. Children. Welcome back to Issues,

et cetera. I'm Todd Wilkin, joining us to talk about the impact of legalized same-sex marriage on children.

Katie Fowse, she's a married mother of

four children in Seattle, founder and director of the Children's Rights Organization, Them Before

Us. She's editor and author of a chapter in the book Pro Child Politics, an author of a recent

column for World News Group titled A Decade of Disaster for Children. Katie, welcome back.

Thanks for having me, Todd.

What's been the overall effect of the 2015 Obergefell ruling over the last decade?

Well, I think a lot of people have seen sort of an erosion of religious liberty, but the real

impact and the real victims are children. What we have seen is a flow in some states and rapid in other states

undoing of children's rights, their claim to be known in love by both their mother and father.

And so the argument that I make in the piece is that children are the real victims of gay marriage.

And we have got to reverse this.
