0:00.0	Hello, everyone. I hope you're doing well. It's Steph Wolfe. I'm coming with some unfortunate news.
0:08.4	I've decided to officially end the Relax with Animal Facts podcast. I'll explain everything in regards to
0:16.5	the decision here, what I've learned, and my hopes for the future. Keep in mind two things. I'm going to be
0:24.6	talking more like I normally do, that is at a slightly higher tempo. This is not going to be that
0:31.7	relaxing. I'm also not speaking entirely off the cuff. I've written a lot of things down. I just want to make
0:39.3	sure that I'm thorough. I'm not trying to make this like an obituary or something. There's a lot of
0:46.1	good things here in this message that are closer to the middle. I just figure let's start with
0:52.5	the why because I think that is what everyone wants to hear right off top.
0:58.2	And so there are a few reasons that I have decided to end the show.
1:03.4	The primary and decisive reasons are those of circumstance and time.
1:09.4	I'm not going to make a list of the things I have on my plate at the
1:13.7	risk of it being misinterpreted as boasting somehow, but I have basically come to the point where
1:19.9	I have to make a decision for the betterment of my own personal future. The reality is I hoped
1:26.7	that this podcast would eventually be a means of
1:30.2	supporting the show and myself, so that I'm able to have sufficient time for all of the other
1:37.3	stuff going on, but that's just not the case. I'm not willing to compromise the show and my
1:43.6	principles by throwing ads on it again, like I did back in April or May,
1:49.3	thereby subverting what I've worked on hundreds of hours to deliver, a space by which you can relax and learn with me.
1:57.3	This show never has and never will be a method of exploiting listenership for cash. I have built
2:04.8	quite a love for you guys over these five years and don't want to spoil that. Some have asked a
2:12.0	very good question, which is why I don't do host red ads instead of the inserted ones.
