I did write a little note to Mark Andresen, he didn't respond, but I said, you know, here we are a couple dozen years later and the Internet is everywhere.

Sometimes I won't, this was right after, you know, it became clear what was going on with the government meddling with the Twitter subscriber list and what people

were allowed to say on Twitter.

And I said it was a really cool thing, but Son and Netscape did.

But sometimes I wonder whether we did a good thing. Mm-hmm. Because there's so much, you know, misbehavior, like where are their parents, kinds of stuff going on,

from the top of the big agencies all the way down to teachers to, you know, kids that

four sitting in front of an iPad at dinner instead of talking

to their parents.

And so I just wonder sometimes what did we unleash and we might be thinking that about AI

someday, huh?

Yeah, possibly, you know, I guess like all technologies, they can be double-edged swords,

but it does seem like on balance the internet has done more for human freedom than not.
