Donald Trump's Federal Trade Commission is trolling for information about how you, the consumer,

have been harmed by social media and other tech platforms.

What does that mean for future regulation or congressional action? It was David and Sarah

and Jennifer Huddleston comment. So David, I'm used to seeing requests for comment in a notice of

proposed rulemaking at a federal agency.

Perhaps I should be more familiar with this, you can tell me, but this is a request for public comment regarding technology platform censorship from the FTC.

And it seems to me that what the Federal Trade Commission is actually looking for

are stories of being treated poorly by tech platforms. Yeah, many other questions revolve around,

and I can just read some of them here. What specific adverse actions did a company take against you?

How and when did they notify users of what happened?

Did they apply these consistently across all their users?

Did you see a place where they applied this inconsistently?

Was it unfair?

Did they let you appeal?

Very much these questions of how did social

media companies treat you unfairly? Or do you perceive that they've treated you unfairly? And this is

largely fishing for the, the FTC to be able to consider to say, oh, you know what, it looks

like these companies are doing something that's unfair, it's deceptive, which would pull this into their remit or else that they hope it would,

so they could regulate the speech and the actions of these social media platforms.

And then there's another angle, which is about whether or not this is anti-competitive,
