Today on the episode, Lauren and Kit and I decided to watch the finish live again

while we record, which leads to some interesting conversations.

episode I want to start off with a little check-in from one of our favorite

Australians on the ground, Gracie Elvin.

So I'm standing in the middle of a paddock out the back of the podium at stage 2 has just

finished of the Tour de France farm. I didn't get a chance to even talk yesterday. It was a huge day with both races going on. It was amazing. I got to go to the start and interview mostly the Ozzy riders and a few extras and just to be part of that atmosphere and excitement. It was quite overwhelming for me.

There was a lot of emotions, but I just had the best time and it was a great race, I think

a great opener for the first Tour de France film of this generation.

One by Lorena Weber's I think you know that was expected but it would have been really tough

for her to still pull it off but my favorite part was the drag race with Voss I think

that was really the storyline that we all wanted and needed I think Voss is the

greatest of all time so in some ways I was hoping for her to win but it was actually a good thing that she was really a close second and today wow

It was absolutely crazy

Not a big fan of the crashes unfortunately. I don't know if that looks good for women cycling in general but it's certainly going to garner a lot of attention and in some ways that's not a bad thing because there'll be a few more people watching tomorrow potentially but I think the splits happened in some

difficult sections of the race anyway it was really interesting to see
