Hey guys it's Erwin-McManus I'm going to welcome you to Mosaic and I want to

welcome you to Palm Sunday. This is a day of celebration a day of triumph a day of joy

now I know it may not feel like that

wherever you are right now across the United States across the world

you're probably still

at a state of wondering what in the world is going on.

If you're like us, we're a little stir crazy.

We're ready for this time of isolation to come to an end.

But I want you to know that moments like these are the moments we discover

how good God is, how real, how present he is in our lives.

And what I don't want us to do is get lost in this moment and lose sight of the future.

So I want to talk to you today about the future of humanity.

You know, this is the day that Jesus came to Jerusalem even though his disciples hoped he would not.

This is the day where Jesus was received in a way we would have expected the Savior of the world to be embraced.

And we know it was just a short-lived moment

because we know after Palm Sunday

comes that dark Friday. We know that after this moment's celebration comes the moment of Jesus

great sacrifice. But I want us to read together this moment together in John Chapter 12

beginning in verse 12. It says the next day the great crowd

that had come for the festival heard that Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem. They took

palm branches and went out to meet him shouting,

Hosanna, Blessed as he who comes in the name of the Lord.
