We all are on some level. So here we are. We've been gaming a historical game in the 14th century. Our characters do not have powers.

There are no dragons. There are no magic spells. There is not some sort of cthulhu entity lurking in the wings. Instead, your characters and their descendants have been dealing with things like famine, and attacked by the French, and our second episode, and then our third episode, the Bubanic plague, hit your community.

What I want to know is, people keep saying like 2022, every year since 2020 is the worst year ever. Things have gone downhill. The world is going to end soon. Society is going to collapse.

Do you think it was worse to live in the 14th century or now?

I don't think there was any year earlier than the one we're in that is substantially better. The past is always worse.

I just read a study online about the dug down into some around this era, priesthood, the tombs of some old priest guys.

They're like, oh, they're like 76% parasite worms.

I think we have slightly fewer parasitic worms.

2022 gets your vote for the better time to live because you're not riddled with parasitic worms. I think it's a pretty good reason.

I always laugh when people are like, oh, man, this is the worst year ever. The society is going to collapse soon. It's like, you have postmates.
