In Revelation 1 and 13, John records that he saw the risen Savior.

Hallelujah.

And he said that he saw in the midst of the seven candlesticks, one who was like the son of man clothed

with a garment down to the foot, girt about the paps with a golden girdle. His head and his hairs

were white like wool, as white as snow. His eyes were as a flame of fire. Can you picture this, friends? His feet like fine brass

as if they burned in a furnace. His voice as the sound of many waters. He had in his right hand

seven stars and out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword and his countenance was as the sun shining that shines in its strength.

Looking at him is like looking at the sun.

Somebody say glory.

When I saw him, John said, I fell at his feet is dead. And he laid his right hand upon me,

saying to me, fair not. I am the first and the last. Oh, hallelujah. I am he that lives and was dead.

And behold, I am alive forevermore.

Amen.

And have the keys of hell and of death.

Glory to God.

Is he risen?

And glorified. Hallelujah. We can see that. And First Corinthians 15 talks about how essential the belief in the resurrection is to Christianity itself.

You'll hear some people mistakenly say, well, I don't know if I believe in that virgin birth

or in a literal physical resurrection, but is that the main thing?

It's really the teachings of Jesus and his moral

and his example that counts, people say. I tell you absolutely not. That is not right.

Let me read some scripture to you. First Corinthians 15 brings it out. Paul, the Spirit of God, through him, says it very clearly.
