Last week, we talked about the Pentecost and the coming of the Holy Spirit.

Pentecost and the coming of the Holy Spirit, of course, that's Acts Chapter 2.

We talked about the fact that Jesus, after his resurrection, spent 40 days on earth as a physical man, as a physical human being risen from the dead,

walking among men, and we're not told at all what he did. Then 10 more days elapsed,

and we come to Acts chapter 2 and the prophecy of the coming of the Holy Spirit.

But before we get to that, last week we had talked about the fact that Jesus assent from

the Mount of Olives is a very, very important event.

Jesus ascended from the Mount of Olives as given in Acts chapter 1.

The Mount of Olives is extremely important because in many prophecies,

and we're going to cover many, many more before we're through with this series,

Jesus comes and goes, the Holy Spirit comes and goes,

in and around the Mount of Olives.

It's a geographic location just across the valley from the Temple Mount.

But there's something about that place that's very interesting.

Now, he preached to the assembled disciples.

He ascended in a cloud, and we look back at Ezekiel chapters 10 and 11 last week, where the Holy Spirit, in the days of Ezekiel also ascended from the Mount of Olives after having

visited the temple.

There's just too much congruency there, too much similarity to ignore. During the
