Summary

Step into the eerie world of the Black Monarch Hotel, once a raucous saloon, casino, and brothel in the historic mining town of Victor, Colorado. When owner Adam Zimmerli first laid eyes on the vacant building, he saw an opportunity to resurrect its past and breathe new life into its ghostly halls. Today, the Black Monarch’s lavish Victorian gothic décor, themed rooms, and unnerving supernatural encounters make it one of the most chilling destinations in the West.

The historic Monarch building was once renowned as "the finest gentleman’s club this side of the Mississippi." Since the early 1900s, its Victorian walls have witnessed countless tales, from stories of violence to accounts of hauntings. Rebuilt after a devastating fire in 1899, the newly named Black Monarch Hotel never truly lost its original inhabitants. Because it isn’t just a place to stay; it’s a place that might stay with you.
