James 417 says to know to do good and not to do it,

it is sin.

So there's sins of commission and there's sins of omission.

And here's something that I've been saying for a while.

I think in our Western culture, we are educated way beyond our level of obedience.

We know all kinds of stuff that we're not necessarily doing.

There's great protection in obedience.

For example, Malachi 3, bring all the tithes and offerings into the storehouse, and I will rebuke the devourer for your sake. Okay, you're quiet when I

mentioned tithing. Well, now wait a minute. I think that's under the law.

That's Old Testament.

Well, you know what?

Can I settle that for you?

If they could give 10% under the law, what should we be doing by grace?

Anyway, you'll be happy to know I'm not going to camp there.
