And we're off. Welcome everybody to WrestleMania Week at post- Wrestling. I am John Pollock,

and we're kicking the week off with me solo, but I'm not going to be solo throughout the week

because we are going to have lots of people dropping by. And I thought that this would be an

interesting way to start things off. I was rattling my brain for some ideas, and I thought, this is an

interesting experiment, and we'll see how it goes, where I'm going to go through the entire

history of WrestleMania, one right up until last year's show over two nights in Philadelphia.

Now, this is not going to be an extensive match-by-match rundown. Instead, some notable figures, facts attached to each show.

And for fun, I'm going to throw in my best and worst match of each year.

And in the absence of ranking these WrestleMania's, we're going to assign them to

top, middle, and bottom tiers of WrestleMania's.

And you can discern your own lists in the comments section below or matches or just violently

disagree with any of my choices.

But off the top, I want to make mention that we're going to be doing shows every day over the next week as part

of this WrestleMania Week coverage. For those that are listening to this, this is on the

Post Wrestling Cafe, and that is where a lot of these shows are going to live. Tuesday, I'm going to

be joined by Keith Elliott Greenberg, longtime writer, historian. He's just put out a new book covering the whole history

of WrestleMania 3. I think it's a chat. A lot of people will find interesting. Wednesday, we

have the Pollock and Thurston show along with Dynamite, so that's sort of going to be our coverage

for that day. And then everything really gets into gear on Thursday, where we will have live shows
