Utopia is his first album since AstroWorld in 2018.

And a lot has happened since then, to say the least.

So coming into this album, Alphonse, like, where were you with Travis Scott sort of before this utopia came out?

I mean, it had been a long time, especially in like rap time since Asterold.

That album was five years ago, and it was a massive album.

And so given that hiatus, it was definitely an interest of where he was going to go next,

especially given like everything he's been through in the last five years.

And so it was just like, what would a Travis Scott album at this point in his life sound like?
