I'm Jeff Mosher alongside Adam Kaplan.

And with us is Greg Kosell.

And he's been breaking down all draft season long prospects for the

2025 NFL draft by position. And in this episode, we're going to talk about the true grunt

work guys of the NFL. That's the interior offensive linemen, the guards, the centers. Greg,

you don't always see these guys go top five, top 10,

top 15. But, you know, listen, if you watch the Eagles, if you watch the Ravens, Packers,

you know how important these guys are. They're the building blocks of really good organizations.

And you know what, Jeff, this is a position that I really had to learn over the years when I started watching college tape, which probably goes back 15 years now.

And I got caught up in the belief that, oh, you have to see how athletic these guys are.

And, you know, then I'd watch and watch and, you know, tried to talk to as many people as I could.

And I realized for offensive guards and centers, you know, it's not a beauty contest. You just got to get guys blocked. Now, obviously, they're taught technique and, you know, that's what coaches do. But sometimes, you know, sometimes it just ends up being like, who can compete. How do you get a guy block? I guarantee if we were sitting here with Landon Dickerson, he'd be telling us that, you know, you got to get guys blocked.

You know, it's not just, you know, yeah, I try to use my hands the right way.

I try to do this the right way.

But, you know, when you're playing against Chris Jones or whoever it might be, you know, sometimes it's just, hey, you got to get a guy blocked.

You know, it's as simple as that and and i got some guys wrong early in my

career evaluating interior o lineman because i would think oh well they're not athletic enough or

they they didn't do this well enough and then i i started as i learned more and more to realize that

you know that's great if you're a good athlete i mean obviously you're not going to say nah we

don't want a good athlete but you know at some point it's just you got to get guys blocked
