Pastor Louie Giglio // What would it take for an invitation to wow you these days? With all of the access we have to entertainers, celebrities, and icons via social media, what invitation would seem worth it to interrupt your daily life? Most of us would jump at an opportunity to meet our favorite actor or athlete, and yet we barely give attention to the greatest invitation that has and will ever come across our desk. The God of the Cosmos is inviting you today, not just to know Him (although that alone would be a miracle) but to walk with Him daily. To hear His heart, to learn from His wisdom, to align your life with His vision of it. The invitation is on the table.

0:05.0	So it's not a question of whether you're going on the trip or not. You're on it.
0:10.0	And if you're listening to this message later than today, it's January the 28th, 2018 at Passion City Church today in Atlanta, Georgia.
0:19.0	And we're already on this journey around the sun. We're 28 days in and to give you a little perspective
0:25.0	because we're talking about Psalm 90, verse 12, teach us to number our days.
0:30.0	And so this is a way to help do that. We've traveled almost 45 million miles so far, traveling at 67,000 miles an hour around the sun.
0:43.0	And so we're already on the journey. And the question that's asked today, when we think about that Psalm 90 anchor verse,
0:51.0	teach us to number our days that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
0:56.0	The question that's on the table today is, what do we want to realize on this trip?
1:02.0	In other words, what would you like to be true of your life at the end of this journey that's not necessarily true of your life today?
1:11.0	What kinds of things would you like to see improved? What kind of changes would you like to make?
1:18.0	What sorts of dreams would you want to realize in and through your life in these days?
1:24.0	And I believe the one that God wants to push right up to the top of the list for all of us today is this.
1:30.0	That on this journey of 2018, on this trip around the sun, we would gain a closer walk with Jesus.
1:41.0	Amazing. Wow. Thank you, Passion City Church for that.
1:47.0	Because your pastor has been on his knees praying about this message for a long time.
1:52.0	And I knew this is what God wanted to bring to our house today. I was convinced and confident coming in.
1:58.0	Thank you for echoing that in your response in that moment. That was huge.
2:04.0	Jesus, let's let him say it for us to take the words out of my mouth and to put them into the mouth of our Savior.
2:12.0	This is what he says in John's Gospel chapter 17.
2:16.0	Now this is eternal life that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
2:27.0	Those are the words of Jesus. So what is he amplifying if you want to think about heaven, the afterlife, eternity, this great big kingdom plan?
