Darryl will give you his background in a second, but I will say that I worked with Darryl

It was an eight-year process. He is humble, his integrity no one can touch. He is a truth-seeker,

which is very, very important to me and the Cruz family to find out what happened. I cannot

say enough good things about Darryl. I believe he won the case for us by explaining to the

jury the evidence in a way that could be comprehended by a layperson. Darryl is going to go through

Can you believe it's almost been in a year since we were at the Cruz trial?

It seems like yesterday, honestly, but yeah, it's good to see both of you again.

It was a very much of a highlight for my career working with both of you.

So, Darryl, can you tell the listeners just a little bit about your background?

Born in South Louisiana, I would come from a long line of people in law enforcement.

My son is now the fifth generation. My family was my great-grandfather, my grandfather,

my father, my mother, and two brothers were all in law enforcement.
