Hi! Trapper Jack here. In this episode, I sit down with Debbie Herbeck to hear her incredible story of transformation. Raised in a devout Jewish home on the South Side of Chicago, Debbie grew up surrounded by family, friends, and an entire community that was almost exclusively Jewish. She had little exposure to Christianity and virtually no understanding of who Jesus was.

 That all changed when she went off to college at the University of Michigan. For the first time, she encountered Christians—not just in passing, but as roommates, classmates, and friends. One of them stood out—a vibrant, confident Catholic student who lived her faith boldly. That friendship, combined with an unexpected assignment on the Book of Romans, opened the door to questions Debbie had never considered.

 But what truly shifted everything for her was not just intellectual curiosity—it was a series of personal encounters with Jesus himself. First, in a vivid dream. Then, in a powerful, tangible experience that left no doubt in her mind that God was real, active, and calling her into something greater.
