I've not quite formalized in my head, Catherine, but I'm thinking this is what I tweeted.

I've noticed that the longer this goes on, the darker and angrier the calls to the show are, more and more

people angry and blaming other people for things they can change themselves.

It's fascinating, I've never known anything like it and I'm not necessarily speaking about the first call this evening although I would probably include that in there but it really hit home last week when we did straight to air on Friday and instead of it being the delightful,

I thought it would be even more surreal than usual and a wonderful psychedelic mess of people just kind of phoning up and going

blah in whatever way that meant for them. But actually it was a lot of angry, frightened people looking for a fight.

That's what it felt like.

And my initial reaction is when people are looking for a fight is to kind of give them one.

But I think throughout, as that show went on and we're going to do straight to air every Friday,

certainly while the lockdown is on, as I think it's a really interesting kind of dipping the elbow in the bath to test the

fear and so people are scared and so they are lashing out and they
