The bond of friendship is usually quite a strong one.

On July 21st, 2006, a woman was charged for a crime against two girls

she once thought were her best friends in the entire world. So if you like your coffee hot,

but your bones chilled, sit back and start your day with a morning cup of murder.

Christine Marie Paolila was born on March 31st, 1986 in Long Island, New York to a stay-at-home

mother and a father who worked in construction.

Unfortunately, when Christine was just two years old, her father was killed in a work

accident, and her mother, absolutely devastated, began abusing drugs,

and eventually lost custody of both Christine and her brother.

Now being raised by her maternal grandmother, when Christine was in kindergarten, she was diagnosed

with alopecia. Leaving her with no eyebrows or eyelashes and forcing her to wear a wig,

she also found herself needing thick eyeglasses due to her poor vision, and combined,

all of this made her the target for bullies, completely rattling her self-confidence.

Her mother eventually overcame her addiction and remarrying,

regained custody of her children,

and moved her family to Clear Lake City, Texas.

The move completely altered the course of Christine's life.
