Summary

In this episode of True Crimecast, we discuss a groundbreaking cyberattack that changed the digital world forever. On November 2, 1988, a 23-year-old graduate student named Robert Tappan Morris unleashed the first major computer worm onto the early Internet. What started as a supposed experiment quickly spiraled out of control, infecting thousands of machines and causing massive disruptions across prestigious universities, government facilities, and research institutions.
