There's a quote by Ein Rand, I'll read to you. She says, whenever destroyers appear among men,

they start by destroying money for money is men's protection and the base of a moral existence.

And that's why value is not just monetary. And why I always view value is time, talent, or treasure.

It sounds to me like you're proposing that Bitcoin is the platonic form of money.

Whatever's money is some commodity of more or less fungible units that have a value because

they're part of the monetary network. Exactly, because money is a representation of the value

of our scarce time here on this earth. And it's a very good fundamental question to start with.

You know, what is money?

That obviously is the namesake of the show here.

Because what you said is perfect.

We decide what money is.

Why would we decide a thing that they just say is money?
