Before we dig into this week's episode, I am excited to share an update in a previously covered case.

Episode 78, The Murder of Renee Sweeney. 23-year-old Renee was a talented musician and college student

who worked part-time at the adults-only video store in Sudbury, Ontario.

In January of 1998, she was stabbed to death during her shift. An arrest was made almost 20 years

finally served. Also, another note? I've had people reach out to me about the number of

0:59.7

interview episodes I've released this year. I do try and mix it up and run the occasional

1:05.3

episode with an interview. Most of the time, I do the narrative at the beginning, and the second

1:16.9

the siege at the realto. I know not everyone enjoys the interviews, so I try to leave them separate

1:22.9

so you can choose to listen as you prefer. If you're looking for some of my older episodes,

1:31.2

I moved much of my earliest work over to Patreon, and I did this for a couple of reasons.

1:37.3

One is that the cases are often out of date, and or the audio quality is not to my liking.
