Busy with the demands of little ones,

she let it go to the answering machine.

The caller, Bonnie's best friend, Erin,

was saying she wanted to see her that the pair should meet up.

Erin lived alone with her cat for company,

and the best friend spent a lot of time together,

so the late call and the message were far from unusual.

That message was the last time that Bonnie would hear her best friend's voice.

Erin Rebecca Taylor was born December 18, 1975,

and she was originally from Madison, Wisconsin.

She and Bonnie met at a women's shelter in 1998.
