Summary
Join us for the season 2 premiere as we examine the double murder that took place on September 12th or 13th, 1980, in room 260 of the Amana Holiday Inn in Williamsburg, Iowa. Roger Atkison and Rose Berkert were bludgeoned on the backs of their heads as they lay in the hotel room bed by a weapon resembling a hatchet or machete. In this episode we look at who the victims were, the discovery of the murders, and the initial stages of the 40-year investigation into this brutal double homicide.
