On November 9, 2002, shortly before midnight, the 20-year-old college student left a party at St. John's

and was preparing for a mock trial with other students. In high school, it seems Josh was popular and funny, voted most likely to succeed, and in his sophomore year caught the eye of a classmate named Katie, someone he ended up dating for the remainder of his high school years.
