Imagine a fog so thick it seems to swallow the world around you,

leaving nothing but a strange silence behind.

The kind of silence that makes every sound,

no matter how small, feel amplified,

as if it's echoing through your very bones.

On this eerie morning, a man alone at a gas station in the middle of nowhere would soon find that silence to be far from comforting.

It started with the sound of metal, a hollow, rhythmic clinking coming from the fog that hung heavy in the air.

It wasn't the kind of noise you'd expect to hear on a quiet, foggy morning.

A tin can, perhaps?

But this was different.

It wasn't until he saw it rolling down the road that he realized something wasn't right.

A metal pie plate, alone in the fog, moving on its own.

As it rolled toward the station, it seemed to defy the natural world.

Was it the wind or something more?

Something else?

But that wasn't the only strange occurrence.

The gas station, the one place he thought would be his sanctuary, was about to reveal more than just a simple mystery. Something unseen, something

chilling was lurking in the shadows. And as the fog slowly lifted, so did the veil hiding

the truth.
