This week I'm working from Genesis chapter 28 verses 10 through 22 and I want to visit Jacob

and I want to visit him from this perspective.

I want to talk about the gate of purpose and we'll look at it together.

I believe this is something that we do together. These sermons do go out all over the world, and it's the chemistry that we have together

as the Word of God goes forth from heaven and released into the earth that makes a difference.

And so I want to thank you for your active participation, for your giving, for your service,

Touch somebody, say it matters.

It matters.

It matters how you engage with the message.

It matters if you lean in.

Genesis chapter 28, verse 10, Jacob left Beersheba and set

out for Heron. When he reached a certain place, a certain place, God can bless you anywhere.

A certain place. Where is it? Doesn't matter. God can bless you anywhere. Anytime, anyone,

anywhere. When he, Jacob, the deceiver, reached a certain place,

he stopped for the night because the sun had set, taking one of the stones there, put it under his head and lay down to sleep. He had a dream in which he saw a stairway resting on earth
