We are joined today by one of my favorite legal

minds because the law is always in the news, especially now. This lawyer is rare in my judgment.

I have friends that are really good at appellate law. They can read and write law review articles. And then I have

friends that are trial lawyers. They can't read or write law review articles. They can cry in

front of a jury, and there's a market for that. It is rare to find somebody who can do both, who both

was a very accomplished trial attorney, which means they

know how to persuade people, but also they're really, really knowledgeable about the law, which

means they could also persuade the Supreme Court or a court of appeals. Those are two different

skill sets. And to find one lawyer they can do both is why Andy McCarthy is as

popular as he is and why you see him every time there's a significant legal issue that pops up.
