The study of Daniel's prophecies, especially the timing of the events foretold in his book,

it's very important because it is impossible to understand the book of Revelation

without understanding the book of Daniel.

And not only that, but it is also impossible to understand many other prophecies in the Bible.

But we're going to continue our Daniels series on this edition of The End Time Show. Good afternoon, everybody.

I'm Dave Robbins with In Time Ministries,

and I do thank you for joining me on this edition of The End Time Show.

Now, we're going to get into, as we continue this Daniel series, Daniel chapter

eight. We've went from chapters one, two, three, four. We skipped to seven, and now we're on

eight because the book of Revelation, or the book of Daniels is not written in chronological order.

They jump around,

and so you got to make sure what that order is to really understand what's going on here.

But the book of Daniel chapter 8, a lot of it deals with the timing of things.

And so we're going to get into that as we go down through here. So let's talk about the

time setting of the vision. Daniel chapter 8, verse 1, it says, in the third year of the reign

of King Belchazzer, a vision appeared unto me, even under me, Daniel. After that, which appeared under me at the first,

Daniel received a vision in chapter seven, two years before this prophecy, the modern nations in

the Bible. Nebuchadnezzar reigned from 604 BC until 562 BC.

And, you know, these dates, honestly,

these dates may not be totally reliable

because history from way back then

it's sometimes disputed, right?
