On today's program, Joyce will be teaching from her series, Pursuing What Matters Most.

Our personal relationship with God sets the tone for everything else in our life.

Seeking him should be our top priority and the best way to do that is to spend time in his word.

We get to know him by learning his word and

then applying its principles to our daily lives. Now here's Joyce with today's

teaching. He that knew no sin, Jesus Christ, the all righteous one, took our sin. He became sin in our place and died on a cross, and our sin was paid for with that act of mercy and kindness.

But he didn't stop there and he gave us the righteousness of God that was his alone to give he took my sin he gave me his

righteousness he took your sin he gave you his righteousness and now god because

he wants to views us he sees us through Christ

as being right with him because of our faith in Jesus Christ.

My goodness.

Whoa!

It takes us most of our life to get it.

It's too good. It's like how can that be surely I have to pay I have to pay I have to pay I have to pay because the world screams you got to pay you got to pay you got to pay

But you can't pay God back because everything he's given us is a free gift. So we don't then do the good works are the right thing. You see, knowing that you're right with God makes

you want to do what's right. So we literally have to find out what we have in

us, what is mine, what's in this kingdom that's in me,

and then God teaches us how to live inside out. We don't do the right thing and finally, hopefully do enough good works for

God to not be mad at us anymore. So now we have right standing with God because we

followed all the rules and regulations.

Well let me ask you a question.
