Hello I'm Tim Manzel and I used to live in Germany a long time ago and watch a lot of football

with a friend of mine called Lutz. We used to go to Bien Munich in those days. In the intervening

years I've kept an eye on it but not that closely so I was

quite surprised just before Christmas to look at a German League table and see

this very unfamiliar name R. B. Leipzig.

Lutz's son, Felix, happened to be in London and I mentioned that to him and he said

yes there's been quite a lot of fuss about

R. B. Leipzig. So I decided to investigate what was going on and this is the

result of that. It's Saturday afternoon in Leipzig at the main railway station and slowly more and more fans in blue and white scarves are emerging.

They've come on the train from Berlin this morning

for this afternoon's game.
