Hello and thank you very much for choosing to listen to this. I'm Mark Stephen. And this week you and McElwraith and I are going to take you in a journey along the River Tay,

which is Scotland's longest river. Our trip starts off at the Falls of Dockert near Kalin.

You can hear that roaring in the background, I have to say this is absolutely magnificent, but at the falls of Dockert just outside Kalin.

There's an old-fashioned bridge here, goes across the river, and the river breaks into

upteen different sort of branches and rivulets.

The whole thing is about the colour of tea, and there's foam everywhere.

It just drops over a succession of falls.

There are big mature Scots Pines in here.

Essentially, this is quintessential Highland Scotland.
