You know, I like to be fit and healthy, so the best way I know is to just get out there and run.

Running was an outlet for me to, I guess, feel good about myself and take out some of the angers that were going on in my life.

Sonio Sullivan is going to take the world title back to Ireland.

The Irishman running abroad returns for a very special announcement episode with the announcement

of the opening of entries for the Sonia O'Sullivan Cove tent taking place on the 6th of April

2025 in her hometown of Cove.

Sonia joins me on the line to talk us through how you can get down there to be there

on the streets with her and maybe even be coached by her for the lead up to this race.

What was it like?

What's the buzz for this year's race?

So yeah, well, there's a lot of excitement building.

You know, we're trying to, I suppose, get all the main contenders back on board again, all the sponsors and the volunteers, you know, the clubs around the town, the Ballymore Coed Laddie Club, the Triathlon Club, the GA Club, like, there's so many different clubs who give a handout on the day.

And it just brings everybody together.

So, yeah, I mean, I suppose launching it before Christmas is always a good idea because it's a nice Christmas present gift idea for people.

They might want to sign somebody off.

Maybe it's a punishment.

Well, 25% of entries snapped up in the first 24 hours.

This race has grown, as they say on the site here, exponentially over the last few years,

raising huge funds for great causes.

And the course has an array of categories, prizes, merchandise, music around the route,

and the race day atmosphere, I can tell you, is unmatched.
