The Fantastic New Netflix series The Sandman is based on a much beloved comic book

series about a immortal and immensely powerful being known as The Master of Dreams.

Like that landmark comic, the series introduces us to a world of fantastic adventure where

dreams and nightmares come to life.

It's a world where abstract concepts like dream, death, desire and despair take the shape

of bickering siblings, but beneath all its hugely imaginative trappings, the Sandman is

ultimately the story of a man who loses everything and has to fight to get it all back, even if

that means facing down hell itself.
