Summary

When a father promises to bring home a singing, springing lark for his youngest daughter, Caroline, he reluctantly makes a bargain with a lion in order to take the bird home to her. Now, Caroline must go to the lion, but when she does, she gets an unexpected surprise. The lion is in fact a handsome prince. A spell was put on him long ago, by day he is lion, by night he takes his true human form. But when the spell turns him from lion to dove, Caroline follows him across the ocean. With the help of the Night Wind, she breaks the spell. But finds him in the grasps of an enchanted princess who takes him away to her castle. Will she be able to find her true love and set him free once and for all?
