Before I tell you my own story, it's very important that I tell you someone else's.

This is something that happened in 1921 in Anderson, New Hampshire.

Anderson was and still is a farm town, very small.

The pastor of Union Protestant Church in Anderson in 1921 was a man named Franz Lergo, a German

immigrant.

On the screen now is a picture from the Anderson call announcing his appointment to Union

Protestant in 1916.
