Welcome to the Thursday edition of Sports Reporters podcast.

Guys, there's a lot to talk about.

Somehow through this whole thing, we always find a lot to talk about.

But now we're talking about games actually inching back towards the field

and the ice and um Mitch I'll start with you that was an amazing piece at ESPN.com a couple of

days ago I mean I it read like war in peace or war in COVID-19 okay about, about everything they are planning for,

every preparation that they have made to possibly get this thing back up and running

as long as the players and the owners can agree on money,

which historically has been rather difficult.

But Mitch, did you not find it reading like planning an invasion during a world war?

Yeah.

And what I liked about it was it also pointed out all the things that baseball hadn't done,

like talking to some of the states or the cities where they're planning on doing this.

Right.

Which, you know,

in the end, you don't just get to do what you want because you're major league baseball.

You still have to acquiesce to the laws of the state or whatever guidelines are going on in a

particular city, and they haven't done any of that.

But one of the key numbers in that piece and that everyone who's listening to should understand
