Baseball has officially now given us a starting date or dates July 23rd and 24th.

They're going to play baseball.

They want players in by spring training on July 1st.

And for all pure baseball fans, this is all wonderful news. There's going to be real games for a 60 game season imposed by the commissioner after wasted time of haggling back and forth.

You wonder if they could have all that time back and

forth jumping between the 112 and 48s and all the rest. They could have started a hell of a lot

earlier. But this is what we're going to have. A 60 game season, there's going to be limited

movement between the teams. In other words, if you're in the Midwest, you're going to play teams

in the Midwest. If you're in the East Coast, No more West Coast trips for East Coast teams or vice versa.
