I never get acne and it's just so interesting because I was mentioning I'm basically living two lives right now, one in Los Angeles and then renovating this home in the desert.

And so I'm just like, oh yeah, my body is revolting against me because it's so difficult.

But actually, that's such a nice little segue into some of the questions I had, obviously.

I have so many to ask about, you know, the scientific and spiritual approach that you take to breakups and kind of getting back on your feet and self-discovery.

But I think before I get into all that, because it's going to be so juicy, me just mentioning like my two lives right now,

you came from a completely different background before you started the, this like self-love, self-empowerment, break up bootcamp, type of heart hackers club all this stuff.

You were, what, 15 years? You were working in marketing?

Yeah, yeah. So I did the route, my Chinese parents really wanted me to do, which is like get a respectable job and they wanted me a lawyer, but I did it.

So I went down the marketing route. And yeah, I was the chief marketing officer of the ping pong club spin.

Okay.

But I had always written on the side. I was a relationship columns for about 12 years.

And it was, you know, the area that I love doing because it was an area I kept failing in. Like I was constantly heartbroken.

So I was like, okay, if I could figure out the science of it, then maybe I'll finally get this relationship thing right?
