today he is the man who played Littlefield in the Emmy-nominated TV film The Valley of Light,

Stephen Tobelaski. Stephen, how are you doing today, sir?

I'm to a great, it was nominated for an Emmy?

Yes, nominated for a primetime Emmy, I believe, for outstanding cinematography for a

miniseries or movie. Excellent, that is really excellent. That is the only project I've ever been on in which they used force measure. Do you know what that is, David?

It's like an act of God or something?

Act of God. Very good. in a contract when people may not know this when you do a

movie or television show there's a little known contract and they're called

Force measure which is act of, which means if you are involved, you know, I realize this would be good

for some of my atheists in the audience who are also lawyers.

If you were involved with a production in which it is

determined an act of God has taken place and you cannot continue shooting, you get

money from the insurance company and we were involved continue shooting.

And we were involved, we were shooting in Portland, Portland, Oregon, and we were hit with an act of

God, which was a flood, the likes of which maybe Noah saw, it was rain for like 10 straight days

to where we could not shoot the movie.

And so the producers enforce the force majeure the act of God and we move

the entire production to Sacramento just in time for that rainstorm day at Sacramento where it rained for another 10 days.

So that's a good thing to know when you look at that contract.

Well, I'm glad that the movie was finished in spite of those things.
