These are the top 10 overall breakout candidates for fantasy football this year across all of the different positions.

and overall, it was like a bit of a wonky career. We kind of have to break it down with some more

context. Because as you see here, he spent three seasons there and like right away, only 400 receiving yards. He tops out at 762 yards and only 500 last year when he battles

injury and he might be saying like, okay, well, what's the shine here? Why is this guy so great? Well,

you have to keep in mind that in 2021 when he gets to Georgia, he's playing with guys like Brock Bowers. He's playing with guys like Jermaine Burton out there as well as

Adidine Mitchell, who are all now in the NFL and just drafted this past season. And not only were

they just drafted in the NFL. One was the first round pick. One was a second round pick. One was

a third round pick. And honestly, he should have gone earlier in Jermaine Burton if it wasn't for

off-the-field issues after he transferred Alabama. And despite all of that, McConkey still led the wide receiver room in receptions and receiving yards each of his first two years at Georgia, which is known as a team that spreads the ball around and also runs the ball a lot.

And then in his final season in 2023 last year, he only plays nine games because he gets injured. he actually ranked top five in wide receiver efficiency yards per outrun ahead of even Marvin

Harrison Jr., who we know how good he is, a top five pick in the draft this past year.

So now McConkey enters this Chargers offense, and early on so far through OTAs,

and now that training camp has started and there's even rookie mini camp for him, he's been looking good.
