0:18.0 | So we really do understand the factors that increase the likelihood of autism. |
0:24.0 | So one side of those factors are in the category of genetic factors. |

0:32.0 | that a person's genes might be altered that could increase the likelihood of autism. |
0:37.0 | And so of course those are called genetic variance. |
0:39.0 | Those can include things like a missing or an extra chromosome or a part of a chromosome |

1:11.0 | There are even certain industrial chemicals now in the environment that can have |

1:16.7 | So studies have even shown some of those chemicals to be present in cord blood, in the cord blood |
