Okay, let's dive in. Oh, In the heart of Michigan, a young girl named Callista Springer was reportedly living in a world filled with mental and physical abuse at the hands of two adults who were referred to as her parents.

At the time of her death, she was chained to her bed, left to die, unable to be freed inside a house where she had been horribly treated.

Flames overtook the house as Kalista struggled to escape the smoke that

filled her lungs, struggling at every breath, knowing her fate, knowing no one would come save her from this evil torturous death,

because for years it's always been brushed under the rock.

Before her death, she was living in a world struggling to be saved where she knew she would die.

Because time and time again she tried to get help any way she could. She would tell her friends, teachers, neighbors,

write letters to her friends, but nothing was ever done. She always remained in the care of Anthony and Marsha who saw absolutely no quality in her life as they treated her horribly leaving her chained and locked in her room for days. They refused to give her food,

she was covered in bruises, she was dirty, malnourished, but sadly our system

failed her.
